The Cincinnati Bengals added another weapon to their offense on Friday night in the NFL draft and a former star wide receiver had a message for him.With their first pick of the third round, the Bengals selected former Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton at No. 80 overall.Following the pick, former Bengals star and Ring of Honor member Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson delivered a message to Burton as he begins his career in Cincinnati.Watch the message from the Bengals in the social media post below."First off, congrats on this incredible night," Johnson said in a post from the Bengals on social media. "All your hard work and your dedication to your craft has gotten you to this point and there's no better city to start it in than Cincinnati."When it comes to the work on the field, Johnson reminded Burton to not let the business side of football distract from the joy of taking the field on Sundays."Keep putting that work in, but most importantly, do not let the business side of things take away from the joy of the game," Johnson said.A Calabasas, California, native, Burton spent two years at the University of Georgia before transferring to Alabama.As a senior in 2023, Burton led the Crimson Tide in receiving, catching 39 passes for 798 yards and eight touchdowns.His 20.5 yards per catch led the SEC and was the sixth-best mark in the nation.
