Shruti Haasan and Santanu Hazarika have reportedly split up. According to a recent tweet from the paparazzo account Viral Bhayani, the two had split up and unfollowed each other on social media. Not only that, but Shruti just posted a mysterious comment on Instagram, saying, "It's been a crazy ride, learning so much about myself and about people."

However, neither Shruti nor Santanu have published a statement regarding their apparent breakup.

Shruti and Santanu have been dating for a long time and were even living together for the past several years. They were frequently photographed together and never hesitated to display their affection for each other in public. Santanu is a well-known doodle artist who also works in other mediums. He has collaborated with some well-known celebrities, including Raftaar, Divine, and Ritviz.

Earlier this year, social media sensation Orry or Orhan Awatramani ignited wedding rumors when he referred to Santanu as Shruti's spouse. Shruti later stated that they were not married. "So, I am not married. Why would I hide this if I have been upfront about everything else? LOL. So, folks who don't know me at all, please calm down," she stated on Instagram Stories.

Previously, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Santanu discussed their love and their constant public appearances. He claimed that it might be "demanding" and discussed the backlash he received for being Shruti's beau.

“I get a lot of racist remarks. I mean, which is very unkind and mean. But, I mean, for us, we both are each other’s support system in a way that we are very supportive. We’re very supportive of the work that we do. We are mutual respect’s art form, and we are each other’s sounding board. So, whenever we work on anything, we are the first critics of each other’s work. And, I mean, for us, work, art, and expression are what take priority and everything else is secondary. So that mental space and that focus help us sort of ignore all the negative aspects of being in the public eye,” he said.

Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan was last seen at work in Salaar. The film also had Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the key roles and was well received by all. Salaar grossed more than Rs 700 crore at the box office worldwide.
