Manchester United look set to have a rather busy summer transfer window if the latest rumours are any indication.

The Reds are currently battling to achieve European qualification in the final weeks of the Premier League season. United also have the FA Cup final against Manchester City to look forward to next month.

Erik ten Hag's future as United manager has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months. Despite this, several players have been linked with potentially making the move to Old Trafford when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

Reports have claimed that United could make a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong. The versatile right-back has been linked with the Reds for several weeks thanks to his impressive form in the Bundesliga for Leverkusen.

According to Give Me Sport, United are still interested in signing Frimpong. However, it has been claimed that the Reds would only pursue a deal for the Netherlands international if Aaron Wan-Bissaka was to leave the club.

United currently have Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot as their main right-back options at the club. The report concludes that in the event that Wan-Bissaka does leave Old Trafford, then Frimpong would be the Reds' first choice to be his replacement.

Elsewhere, United are continuing to be linked with a move for Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo. According to TBR Football, the Reds have made their first move in an attempt to sign the Uruguay international.

It has been claimed that United have made contact with Araujo's representatives in an effort to bring the player to Old Trafford. Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in signing the La Liga defender.

Reports in recent weeks have suggested that Barcelona could allow Araujo to leave the club this summer in order to help their financial situation. The article concludes by saying that United have asked Araujo's representatives to be kept informed over any developments around the defender's future at the Camp Nou.
